Shotgun Willy

The new Shotgun Willy takes the flagship series to a whole new level. Primarily designed to emulate the erratic swimming motion of a baitfish, this new fishing lure is best used in trolling situations. We have all of your favorite color combinations, equipped with a quality VMC hook and german split ring, and each one is painted over a silver plated finish. We recommend using a swivel to prevent line twists.

To take it a step further, Willy Lures is introducing the new Shotgun Willy fishing lures in an assortment of glow colors, with an all new amazing effect! Our new process actually allows the colors of the paint come through the glow finish. This dynamic application eliminates the 'Big Green Stick Effect' that earlier versions of glow products produced. The new glow is also environmentally friendly, and has tremendous duration and brightness. The best lighting sources for charging this glow are those that are rich in the ultraviolet and blue light spectrum. In order of effectiveness, these are: Sunlight, quartz-halogen, mercury vapor, black light, fluorescent and least effective is condescent.

To the left, you can see a sample of our glow-in-the-dark Shotgun Willy fishing lures (before and after we turned off the lights). These photos were taken with NO digital modification, special camera lens', or trick lighting. This is how your lures look after you charge them for at least 10-20 minutes in sunlight. Notice how you can depict the red, yellow, blue, and green. With our new glow process, you'll be able to arm yourself with a well-rounded tackle selection for deep water trolling.

By altering the original Willy Lure blanks and leaving the two position adjustment holes, we've created a spoon that reacts to water variations differently than standard casting or trolling spoons. In our video, you can see the 'up and down' movement, while slightly moving from left to right. Notice when we change the position of the fishing rod, the spoon will 'kick and roll', and then continue its unique pattern. To see a larger, hi-res movie, click here.
